NEW DOG

I GOT  A NEW DOG AND HIS NAME IS RICHARD! He is a mix of 3 different kinds of dogs and I don't even remember what they all are.  He is very quiet and well behaved and he really likes pissing.  More pics will come in the future.

Taylor or Tyler? ... Tonight I'm thinking Tyler

Tonight Tyler Seguin of the Boston Bruins lit it up.  It was game 2 of the Eastern Conference Final and the rookie came to play.  In the first game of the series (coincidentally Tyler's first game of the post season) Seguin scored a highlight reel goal in a losing effort.  Tonight was a different story.  Tyler Seguin's line combined for 8 points, and Seguin himself had 4 of those 8 (2 goals, 2 assists).  He scored points on 4 of 7 shifts in the 2nd period and helped his team even the series 1-1 as the Bruins downed the Bolts 6-5 tonight in Boston.

Today was a big day in sports...


First of all, I attended the Toronto Rock game at the Air Canada Centre.  It was a winner-take-all contest that featured the Rock taking on the Washington Stealth.  The game was a true nail biter, as the Rock lead the first half by a score of 7-2, and only ended up winning the game 8-7.  The Stealth pushed hard, but their effort was not enough in the end.  Congrats to the 2011 Toronto Rock, Champions Cup winners!

Also, Finland won the World Hockey Championship today by a score of 6-1! Big win for them as it is their first WHC title since '95.

In the CHL, Owen Sound defeated Mississauga in overtime of the 7th game of their series to take the OHL title.  It truly went down to the wire for these two teams and ended in joy for one team and heartbreak for another.  They will now both compete for the Memorial Cup.

In the NBA, Oklahoma City eliminated Memphis in game 7 of their series by a score of 105-90.  Kevin Durant put up 39 points for OKC and they now advance to the western final to take on the Dallas Mavericks.

All this and the Canucks-Sharks game isn't even on for another half an hour... stay tuned!

Hilary Swank

Hot or not?

 After watching Million Dollar Baby tonight with some friends, a question came to my mind... is Hilary Swank attractive?  In some situations in the film she seemed to be, but in others she really wasn't.  I suppose she was not supposed to be pretty as a boxer, so I started searching the internet for pictures of her.  The one I posted was the best one (in my opinion) that I could find.  Please comment and leave your thoughts/opinion.

Wiz Khalifa's new episode of DayToday was uploaded 6 days ago, if you want to see what the rapper gets up to, check it out.  Pretty entertaining stuff.

This morning my friends and I went to a store called "British Imports".  The store sold a lot of memorabilia and British delicacies/sweets.   There was a lot of Royal Wedding merchandise available as well, including mugs and plates.  The most interesting thing in my opinion was the Harry Potter scarf that looked almost exactly identical to the ones they wear in the films.  Overall it was an extremely interesting experience and if you are ever in Newmarket, Ontario I suggest you pay them a visit!

Matt Bonnar is no longer my lord and saviour, as he broke my nintendo 64 last night.  I have realized that he is a conniving back-stabber and a user.  His mother wears army boots.

Derek Boogaard, also known as "The Boogy Man" passed away today.  Not a lot of information has been released or confirmed yet, regardless, the 28 year old NHLer was too young.  Rest in peace.
